Based on a Hawthorne strainer that was patented in 1892. Corrugations at the base of the handle hook onto the mixing glass or shaker rim to keep the strainer from slipping. Fits large and standard mixing glasses. Copper-plated 18/8 stainless steel. Hand wash.
