The artwork references personal modifications found on these bags, including visible repairs, spray-painted names, and drawings influenced by traditional naval tattoo imagery. Additional motifs focus on everyday objects these men might have spent time with, such as playing cards, pinup drawings, and cigarettes. The group emphasizes wear, personalization, and the idea of a functional object that develops character over time.
