The peace and love sign was designed int eh 1950s by Gerald Holtom and was along with the peace hand sign adopted by anti-war activists during the 1970s. The name 19-69 stands for just this: freedom, tolerance, and counterculture. The scent Chinese Tobacco is also a reminiscense of a visit to Kuala Terengganu. It was late at night, the air was filled with wonderful aromas from the kitchen area, while a group of men were smoking and playing cards.
